Windows 10 gets an update

Microsoft announced that the new update for Windows 10 will be available for download on 30 April 2018, and will roll out to all Windows 10 PCs worldwide on 8 May.

The Microsoft Windows 10 April 2018 update comes with features that focus on better user experience and security, while also bringing improvements to its Edge browser.

Edge now allows you to go full screen to read books, PDFs and web pages. It makes payments easier with Microsoft’s autofill tool, while never saving the CVV number.

Timeline – allowing users to go back 30 days to find emails, files, folders, documents, photos and videos – and Focus Assist are other additions to this update.

Focus Assist lets you turn off notifications from different platforms, including social networking applications for a manually-set timeframe.

The Windows 10 April 2018 update also integrates modern voice functionality to its operating system with the new Dictation feature - allowing users to simply give voice inputs to note anything.
